Following the Dodgers and Exploring The Team’s Past

A few years back, MacDougal was a hard throwing right hander who closed for the Kansas City Royals and had some nice seasons for the Chicago White Sox. He had a really rough year for the Cardinals last year but the Dodgers look like they’re going to take a chance on MacDougal. From what all I’ve read, it looks like MacDougal is going to spend most of his time in the minors and he’ll back a back end option in the event a bunch of relievers go down.
In other news, Ken Gurnick answered some questions in a mailbag column. He talks about how the Dodgers are going to have a second left handed pitcher in the pen, what Gurnick thinks of Ronald Belisario, and the Dodgers chances of signing Eric Chavez. Cool stuff from Ken as usual.
