April 8, 1988 at Atlanta-Fulton County Stadium
Dodgers 6, Braves 3  (3-1)

The Dodgers picked up their third straight win and they did it was a big inning in the sixth inning.  The big hit was a bases loaded clearing triple by Alfredo Griffin to give the Dodgers the lead in the game.  Pedro Guerrero drew three walks and scored a run while Mike Davis was a perfect three for three with a walk.

Tim Leary picked up the win despite a mediocre outing.  He gave up three runs on five hits with three strikeouts in five innings of work.  Tim Belcher threw a very nice game with four innings of shutout relief and he picked up his first career save.
