Dodgers Become First Team With Ten Wins After Win in Arizona

by @ 5:26 am. Filed under 2007 Season

The Dodgers took care of the Diamondbacks and they extended their lead to a game and a half after the two game sweep.  Jeff Kent and Juan Pierre were the hitting stars. Kent went three for four with an RBI while Pierre had two hits, three runs and an RBI.

Bret Tomko threw five fair innings but he didn’t get a decision.  Chad Billingsley threw two shutout innings and he picked up his first win of the season and Takashi Saito got it done in the ninth and he picked up his sixth save.

The Dodgers go for win number eleven tonight as they head to Colorado for two with the Rockies.  Derek Lowe will get the start tonight and then Chad Billingsley will throw in place of Jason Schmidt tomorrow afternoon in the finale.
