Dodgers Begin 10-Game Homestand

by @ 10:06 am. Filed under 2008 Dodgers

The Dodgers are .500 since the All-Star break, and begin a 10-game homestand beginning with the Washington Nationals, followed by the Giants and finally a crucial four-game series with the Dbacks.

Chad Billingsley will get the start against lefty John Lannan. Billingsley is making his 21st start of the season, a new career-high. He is 2-0 lifetime against the Nationals and looks to send his win total to double digits. Lannan is 6-9 and is facing the Dodgers for the first time in his career.

This weekend’s series against the Nationals should spark the return of Juan Pierre. He has played a rehab assignment game at Las Vegas but could be in the Dodgers lineup as early as this weekend.
