Dodgers Double Up Cardinals

Dodgers 12, Cardinals 6  (18-9)

Mike Davis and Kirk Gibson had big days at the plate as the Dodgers blew out the Cardinals in the rubber game of their series.  Davis went four for six with a double, a triple, three RBIs and a run.  Kirk Gibson hit his fifth homer of the season and he went two for four with a walk, two RBIs and three runs.

Don Sutton improved to 2-2 on the season despite a mediocre start.  He gave up five runs (four earned) on six hits with four strikeouts in seven frames.
