Dodgers Drop Last Game of Road Trip

by @ 12:07 pm. Filed under 2009 Dodgers

The Dodgers went 4-5 on the road trip, with the final game being a 4-9 loss to the Giants on Wednesday.

Tim Lincecum fanned eight Dodgers in the first seven shutout innings. The Dodgers then chased him in the eighth with three runs, the first courtesy of Orlando Hudson’s RBI-double.

Eric Stults didn’t make it out of the third, and was tagged for five runs on seven hits for the loss. He gave up a two-run triple to Bengie Molina to allow the Giants to take a quick 2-0 lead in the first. The Giants then scored two runs each off of Elbert and Mota.

The Dodgers host the Padres for a four-game series beginning tonight, with James McDonald facing Josh Geer.
