Eric Stults picked up the win, spreading five hits and two runs through five innings. James McDonald, Ronald Belisario, and Will Ohman shut out the Giants for the next four innings.
Rafael Furcal got the offense going with a leadoff solo homerun in the first inning. The Giants tied it up in the second but the Dodgers took the lead right back with two runs in the bottom half, with RBIs by Matt Kemp and Casey Blake. The Dodgers then rallied for three runs in the sixth and another in the seventh. Doug Mientkiewicz was injured sliding into second in the sixth inning, dislocating his shoulder that may send him to the DL. Blake DeWitt or Xavier Paul will likely get the call-up to fill in the utility spot.
The Dodgers look to extend their win streak to six games, hosting the Rockies tonight at 7:10. Randy Wolf will take on lefty Jorge De La Rosa.
