Dodgers Lose Close One To Padres

by @ 4:24 am. Filed under 2007 Season

The Dodgers took a 2-0 lead into the fourth inning but then Bret Tomko gave up three runs as he took the loss.  The 3-2 scored would sit there until the final as neither scored a run the rest of the way.  Tomko gave up three runs on six hits with a strikeout in 6 1/3 innings.

Juan Pierre had a nice game with three hits, two runs and a stolen base.  Jeff Kent also got it done with two hits and he drove in both Dodgers bases in the 3-2 loss.

Derek Lowe throws this afternoon and the Dodgers hitters face a struggling David Wells in the finale.  I like our chances in this one.
