June 25, 1988 at Riverfront Stadium
Dodgers 6, Reds 4  (41-29)

The Dodgers continued their run with their second straight win against the Reds and their seventh win in eight games.  Mike Marshall had a big day at the plate and he went three for five with two RBIs while Hamilton went two for four with a double, two runs and an RBI.

Fernando Valenzuela was shelled and he gave up four runs and got pulled with two outs in the first inning.  Brian Holton got the final batter out in the first and he picked up the win because the Dodgers answered with five in the second inning.  Tim Crews and Alejandro Pena did the bulk of the heavy lifting though and they threw four and 3 2/3 innings of shutout relief respectively.
