Following the Dodgers and Exploring The Team’s Past

The Dodgers overcame a 4-2 deficit to win against the Braves on Thursday, courtesy of a walk-off homerun by Andre Ethier.
Randy Wolf picked up another no-decision, going seven innings while giving up four runs. Kuo, Mota, and Elbert all combined for two shutout innings of relief, with Elbert picking up his second win.
Derek Lowe held the Dodgers to just two runs in his 6 1/3 innings. They scored one in the third and another in the fourth by Orlando Hudson, after he got on base with his 1,000th career hit. Rafael Soriano then came on to close out the ninth for the Braves and put two runners on for Andre Ethier, who belted a three-run walk-off homerun, his fifth walk-off jack of the year, good enough for best in the league.
Chad Billingsley will take on Jair Jurrjens tonight. Billingsley won last week against the Braves, while Jurrjens took a loss in Sunday’s game against the Dodgers.
