Don Sutton, Alejandro Pena Combine For Six Hit Shutout

Dodgers 4, Cubs 0  (12-5)

The venerable Don Sutton and Alejandro Pena combined to shut out the Cubs on six hits in the Dodgers’ 12th win of the season.  Sutton threw six scoreless frames and he gave up four hits and three walks with three strikeouts.  Alejandro Pena closed out the game with three scoreless innings in which he gave up two hits and struck out three.  Pena earned his second save of the season while Sutton picked up his first win.

Pedro Guerrero went three for four and he drove in a run.  Kirk Gibson singled twice and he drove in one.
