Dodgers 3, Phillies 2  (20-12)

The fourth time was the charm as the Dodgers ended a three game losing streak to win their 20th game of the season.  Don Sutton improved to 3-2 on the season with a solid start.  He gave up two runs (one earned) on eight hits with a strikeout in 5 2/3 innings.  Jay Howell struck out four in the final two innings and he picked up his third save of the season.

Mike Davis went two for four with a run in the win.  Mike Marshall doubled, drove in a run and scored.
