Dem Bums – A Dodgers Blog

After selecting pitcher Ethan Martin for the 15th overall pick, the Dodgers continued with a variety of positions picked. Martin is expected to sign with the Dodgers instead of going to Clemson, where he was suppose to play quarterback.

In Round 2, they selected RHP Joshua Lindblom out of Purdue. He has recently moved to the bullpen but could be used as a starter for the Dodger farm teams.

In Round 3, they selected outfielder Kyle Russell from the University of Texas. He lead college ball with 27 homers in 2007 as a lefty.

In Round 4, they picked shortstop Devaris Strange-Gordon of Seminole CC.

In Round 5, RHP JonMichael Redding of Florida CC.

In Round 6, shortstop Anthony Delmonico of Florida State.
