Following the Dodgers and Exploring The Team’s Past
[powered by WordPress.]
Alright, sorry for the lack of posts. I was supposed to get some help with regard to the day to day stuff on the site while I concentrated on the 1988 Dodgers Diary but it wasn’t to be. So I’ll be pulling double, and potentially triple duty if assistance is needed at the Dodgers Minors site, for a while so please bear with me.
The big news in camp is the arrival of new manager Joe Torre but equally as impressive is the emergence of Japanese hurler Hiroki Kuroda. He threw bullpen session that turned some heads and if he can pull off a rookie season Hideo Nomo and Jason Schmidt can come back strong, the Dodgers could be the early favorites to walk away with a tough NL West crown. Schmidt is expected to throw his bullpen session today and it’ll be interesting to see what comes out of that.

Hideo Nomo is back? Just kidding I guess you made a typo. I like the name of your blog ‘DEM BUMS’ I don’t see that expression much. That’s the way we refered to the in Brooklyn. I like to do it occasionally when I post to a blog. I think an important thing is how Joe Torre handles the outfield and the third base situatons. It would be great to see Schmiddy come back to his old form.*******and Nomo too***lol
