Dodgers 9, Phillies 2  (21-12)

Kirk Gibson had a big day at the plate as the Dodgers took the rubber game in their series against the Phillies.  Gibby went two for four with a double, three RBIs and a run while Steve Sax went three for five with two doubles, one RBI and a run.  Pedro Guerrero pitched in with a solo homer, his third long ball of the season.

Tim Belcher went the distance and he improved to 3-1 on the season.  He gave up two runs on six hits and four walks with eight strikeouts.
