Following the Dodgers and Exploring The Team’s Past

Hiroki Kuroda held the Giants to one run through his three innings, and left with a 2-1 lead. Hong-Chih Kuo then tossed a perfect fourth before Shawn Estes allowed the Giants to tie it up in the fifth. The Giants then bullied Eric Milton, tagging him for eight runs on seven hits in 2 1/3. Milton took the loss and looks as if he will remain a winless 0-3 for spring, numbers that certainly put him out of the fifth starting role.
Madison Bumgarner held the Dodgers scoreless through three, but Doug Mientkiewicz gave the Dodgers a two-run go-ahead homer in the fourth. The Dodgers then rallied for three runs in the seventh, highlighted by Jason Repko’s two-outs, two-RBI single. The Giants took the lead in the bottom half but the Dodgers struck back in the eighth to tie it up, including a two-run blast by Juan Castro.
The Dodgers head back to LA on Thursday for a night game with their cross-town interleague rival Angels. Randy Wolf will make the start and face Dustin Moseley.
The Dodgers have also optioned back-up catcher Danny Ardoin to Triple-A–an inevitable move after the off-season signing of Brad Ausmus.
