The Dodgers finished up a three game sweep over the Pirates and Kirk Gibson was one of the Dodgers to have a big day at the plate.  He went two for four with a walk, his fourth homerun, two RBIs and two runs.  Pedro Guerrero went four for five with two RBIs and a run while Steve Sax finished three for four with a walk, an RBI, two runs and three stolen bases.

Orel Hershiser continued his perfect season and he improved to 6-0.  He gave up two runs on ten hits and a walk with seven strikeouts in 6 1/3 innings.
