April 13, 1988 at Jack Murphy Stadium
Dodgers 4, Padres 3  (6-2)

Pedro Guerrero hit a two run homer in the eighth inning to break a 2-2 tie as the Dodgers came from behind to beat the Padres.  Franklin Stubbs also went yard in the win with a pinch hit solo shot in the sixth inning to put the Dodgers on the board.

Tim Leary gave the Dodgers five decent innings but he didn’t get the decision.  He gave up two runs on four hits with six strikeouts.  Jay Howell threw two innings of shutout relief to pick up the win while Jesse Orosco gave up a single run in the ninth but still picked up his third save of the season.
