by @ 5:57 pm. Filed under 1988 Dodgers, 1988 Dodger Diary - June

June 12, 1988 at Jack Murphy Stadium
Padres 5, Dodgers 2  (32-25)

The Dodgers suffered a sweep at the hands of the Padres and the only thing different about this one is the Dodgers lost by more then one run.  John Shelby was the hitting star in the loss.  He went three for four with two doubles, a run and an RBI.

Tim Belcher fell to 3-4 with a rough start.  He gave up four runs on six hits and two walks with two strikeouts in just four innings.
