Dodgers 4, Phillies 0  (24-17)

The Dodgers moved into a tie for first place behind a top notch start by Tim Leary.  He gave up a single in the third inning then didn’t give up a hit the rest of the game.  He improved to 4-3 and he gave up two walks while he struck out six.

The Dodgers scored their four runs on a pair of two run blasts.  Mike Scioscia put the Dodgers on the board with a two run homer in the fourth and then Jeff Hamilton belted a two run homer in the seventh inning.
