The White Sox came back to take the second game of the series with a 10-6 win over the Dodgers on Wednesday.
Randy Wolf was able to earn a decision, but it came with a loss after he gave up five runs on seven hits. Wolf gave up a solo homerun in the first followed by another two-run shot in the third to allow the Sox to tie it at 3-3. Wolf left the next inning after giving up another one-out, two-run homerun. Cory Wade was then rocked in the fifth inning, giving up four runs, including two homeruns. James McDonald gave up a solo shot in the fifth before settling down for the next two innings.
The Dodgers answered Aramis Ramirez’s first-inning homerun with three runs in the second. They didn’t add another until the seventh and Matt Kemp drove a three-run shot in the eighth to make it look like a decent loss.
The Dodgers are now taking on the Sox in the rubber match, with Chad Billingsley facing Clayton Richard.
